Book Review: Informative and light

This is exactly what I thought it would be,a biography of the lady who was so influential in the history of the harp, put in context of the time period she lived, with some discussion of her works.
It is a light little bit, easy to read in one or two sittings. I would have liked more information about the real woman. Her copious notebooks are mentioned, but unfortunately, only referred to. Not much family context, and certainly no tattle-tale personal life.
This is more a long loving eulogy from a student to a beloved professor, but since we have almost nothing else.... definitely worth a read, and good to have a comprehensive listing of her work.
