Book Review: Everyone should read this

I wish this book would be assigned in school - Charles does an incredible job of dispelling all those awful expectations of how anyone, male, female or a little of both, ought to act. I realized while reading this book that I had internalized some of those voices of the media telling me The Way to be sexy and beautiful (and how I was failing to do so). This was a great reminder to let go of those outside expectations and go with what feels right to you. Really, this is one of the best books on self-esteem I've ever read.Book Review: Life Change.

I have been dressing almost full time now for a year and still have not felt comfortable in public or in front of friends. I picked up this book thinking it was going to be fun (it is fun) and give me new ideas on how to put on makeup and try new clothes, instead this book truly changed my life! My comfort level changed the next day, and I even had people I know comment on my relaxed behavior when dressed. I guess it really goes to show us not to judge a book by it's cover. A must read book for those who wish to explore their feminine side. This book helps to dispell the notion that crossdressing is something that has to be done to perfection. It helped me to realize that I can dress as I wish even though I have a large figure and a beard. Having thought that I couldn't crossdress without losing weight or shaving as lifted a burden off my shoulders. There are many excellent ideas for the crossdresser who is just exploring and for those who wish to live a new life.Book Review: Buy this book and you'll have a new big sister!

I found this book fills one of the most important needs of any crossdresser, the reminder that dressing should be fun! While not a comprehensive "how to" book, I found many useful tips and would not hesitate to recommend this book to others.Charles has a great sense of humor that frequently rings of someone who has "been there, done that." So, if your new to crossdressing, and you're looking for some tips from a big sister, buy this book and prepare to be nurtured!

Like many women now-a-days (god how times change) I'm trying to get my husband to crossdress. He hasn't shown much interest in the past because of all the hassle, but he's reading this book and I think becoming more open to the idea. Definitely recommended.
