I really enjoyed the book. It was an easy and fast read. I passed it on to my son to read. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes interesting adventure books.

Book Review: Pinky and the Brain
Summary: 4 Stars

As I read this book I kept thinking about the cartoon Pinky and the Brain. Two laboratory enhanced rats, one the Brain has a Napoleon complex and always scheming to take over the world but fails repeatedly, the other is Pinky his inept sidekick. In The Last Oracle the brain is General-Major Savina Martov head of a Russian Intelligence Program involving the use of autistic Gypsy children's savant talents she is manipulating to help her son rule the new world order she is trying to create, And Pinky would be her son Nicolas a Russian politician that sees himself as the next Czars if they can poison the entire world by releasing nuclear waste. I must say I chuckled once their plan was revealed and at times this book was a page turner. What I found most interesting was the way the author traced the Gypsy's origins to the Oracle of Delphi and suggested the possibility that some of the most creative people in history displayed some level of autistic tendencies. Add to this cocktail of suspense Sigma Force in a race against time to stop Savina and Nicolas you get an entertaining read.

Book Review: One of Rollins' best
Summary: 4 Stars

I enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would (I did not like the last one). It was well researched, and I suggest the reader start at the end of the book on page 459, Author's Note. This is fascinating and truly amazing, all the things in the book which are actually based on Fact. I have read every one of Rollins' books out in paperback, and this is one of my favorites. He writes well, the story moves, and the characters, while not necessarily believable, certainly are likeable. Read this on the plane or beach or when the stress of work is getting to you. The only thing I would suggest to the author, is that Pierce and Crowe are boring people and it would be nice if they had a bit more depth, other than being Supermen. I almost didn't read this because I'm tired of Sigma Force, but I'm glad I did.

Book Review: ...
Summary: 4 Stars

I've only read 2 of his novels (Doomsday Key and this one), and in terms of action, I liked the Doomsday Key better, but for drama, I'd go with this. I actually never expected it, but I was crying like a kid while reading the last few chapters. The action was still good though.

One of my problems with the novel was that I felt that there were some things missing in the story, and some parts felt kind of awkward. The "formula" in his stories, as mentioned by one of the reviewers, was also very evident. I actually had a couple of "I knew it" moments, so I should probably stay out of the Sigma series, unless the others have the same formula as well. -_-

Kowalski was funnier than ever though.

All in all, it was a fun experience reading the book.
