I was at Wal-Mart one day and came across The Judas Strain. I didn't know if I would like it b/c it has history in it and I'm not much of a history fan. I was totally wrong. James Rollins mixes history, medical drama and action altogether that kept me reading well into the night. This book is kind of like the OutBreak movie with a killer virus dating back to the time of Marco Polo. It has history but it will not bore you one bit! Its about terrorists that hijack a ship to find a cure for the Judas Virus that came about in the time of Marco Polo. A doctor is forced to help the hijackers find a cure and also make the virus so it can be released into the whole world like a plague. It has action, adventure and lots of memorable characters. I have read all of James Rollins books and he puts history into his book so that even the person that hates history with a passion will love his books. Read his books. You won't be sorry.
