The House of a Million Pets is about a woman who talks about how when she was little she wanted a lot of pets. And now that she is older, she has all the pets she wants and one of the pets is a three-week-old baby rabbit and it only has three legs and they call him Stumper. There is another part in the book that talks about a raccoon that comes out in the day time and the old lady calls the town state trooper to come and get it. When the trooper got there he got out of his truck with a pistol in his hand and went to the back yard where the raccoon was and then... BANG!!!!!
I think it was a great book. I liked it a lot because I like animals and it was the best animal book I have read so far. What made it great and the best book that I have read was because it didn't talk about one animal through the whole book like any other book that I have read and that is why. It is awesome to read.
I rate this book 10 out of 10 because I like it. Another animal book that I have read is Pony on the Porch which is an Animal Ark series and there is more in the series that I have read. It's about the same as The House of a Million Pets because it has to do with animals and people owning them. It's different because Pony on the Porch is about horses. People who like animals would like this book.
One final thought to leave you with is that you have to read the book The House of a Million Pets to find out what happened to the poor raccoon.
