Book Reviews of The Handmaid's Tale (Cliffs Notes)Book Review: This book wasn't worth reading in my opinion Summary: 1 Stars
The author of "The Handmaids Tale," Margaret Atwood, left a lot to be desired, such as, closure, well-rounded characters, and an interesting way of expanding her plot. The one thing this book did have going for it is a good plot, and even this was ruined by the monotonous tone of the writer's imagination. The idea that a world that horrible exist is a valiant effort, but much more time needed spent with the small details and not so much on the painfully obvious ones.
Book Review: Nightmare Summary: 1 Stars
I felt like I was wading through a mish mash of feminist, ecological, dystopic mayhem without a conclusion. Only true feminists and the anti-porn league will appreciate the book and its biblical references confuse evryone but the vicar. Avoid this book at all costs.
Book Review: DON'T EVEN BOTHER! Summary: 1 Stars
No words can describe just how much I hated this book. It hurt to read it. And if you can't stand anything remotely feminist, this story will make you want to come out of your skin! Plainly, the book is horribly unsatisfying and boring. Don't even bother!
Book Review: Over-rated and overanalyzed Summary: 1 Stars
The novel was a horrible example of Canadian writing. It provoked no thought, except of wanting to end it quickly.
