Book Reviews of the The Handmaid's Tale (Cliffs Notes)Customer Review: This book wasn't worth reading in my opinion Summary: 1 Stars
The author of "The Handmaids Tale," Margaret Atwood, left a lot to be desired, such as, closure, well-rounded characters, and an interesting way of expanding her plot. The one thing this book did have going for it is a good plot, and even this was ruined by the monotonous tone of the writer's imagination. The idea that a world that horrible exist is a valiant effort, but much more time needed spent with the small details and not so much on the painfully obvious ones.
