Book Reviews of The Grouchy Ladybug

Book Review: The Bad Tempered Ladybird
Summary: 4 Stars

While this is not one of my favourite Eric Carle books to read aloud, my 4yo son loves it and will sit there pretending to read it to himself. He has long been a fan of the Very Hungry Caterpillar so was thrilled to discover this book.

Book Review: The Very Grouchy Review by: Nicole
Summary: 4 Stars

I liked this book because it reminds me of what i used to do. Yelling adn always wanting to fight. It was very funny because I was very little.

Book Review: living for ladybugs
Summary: 4 Stars

Purchased this to team with a game of the same name for my granddaughter who collects ladybugs...think she'll go "buggy" for it.

Book Review: Great book when you are teaching time!

I am a first grade teacher and I always read this book before I begin teaching time. I love Eric Carle.

Book Review: Good Kids Book
Summary: 3 Stars

This book is a great children's book, where the ladybug meets the other ladybug and the grouchy ladybug didn't want to share with the other ladybug. So the grouchy ladybug asked the ladybug if it wanted to fight so the ladybug just smiled and said ok but the grouch ladybug said he wasn't big enough for him. Then the lady bug went flying around for about an hour and asked lots and lots of animals if they wanted to fight of course they all said yes and just smiled but none of them where big enough for him.
This book would teach a kid that people aren't going to be happy all the time. It also would teach a kid that sharing is good and you should do it as much as possible, because you and the person that you share it with will be both happy. I recommend this book because, what it would teach kids and its just a good book and I enjoyed it. I hope that everyone else that reads it enjoys it to. Its funny how the ladybug thinks nothing is big enough for him to fight when there hundreds of times bigger then he is. Every hour he asked a different animal if it wanted to fight each time it was bigger eventualy when he got to a whale he didn't know how big it was and asked for fight its tail and its fin and the whale.
