Book Review: Fast-paced thriller
Summary: 5 Stars
This, in my opinion, is one of Dean Koontz's best novels. There's none of the spooky supernatural stuff that makes many of his books so chillingly fun to read, but this one is so full of suspense and action, you'll be turning the pages until the small hours of the morning.
The premise of the book is interesting, the characters are very well done and the plot resolves in a very satisfying way. An excellent read.

I enjoyed this book. I liked it from the start, it was interesting and suspenseful. It had Koontz' good humor in it as well. Throughout most of the book, you are reading from either Tim or the hired killers perspectives. I liked this, because this way you get to see what both are thinking during the story.
I also liked Linda and Tim's romance, it's not forced and gradually shows up.

This is an amazing book. Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down just like all the other books by Dean Koontz. He keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole book. Love the perfect balance between love and action. I love how Tim always made the right decisions and he was a tough guy when he needed to be. I have not read any Koontz for a while. This one caught my eye so I decided to order it. I have the hard copy.
I couldn't put this book down. I loved the characters, the plot, the story and most of all the hero. From cover to cover i could not put this book down. By far one one of the best books in my collection!

I have not read this series personnaly, but my son is somewhat of a Dean Koontz fan. He had never read the Odd Thomas Series before and this was like candy to him. He has all his friends wanting to read this series!
