Book Review: Excellent, readable, off-the-record charts

This is one of the best collections of old rock'n'roll songs I've ever used. Many of the charts are clear, readable, surprisingly complete, off-the-record transcriptions. I play piano much more than guitar, so I haven't tried using the TABs. Most published rock songs from this era came out as white-bread, sanitized, inacurrate piano-and-vocal sheet music - terribly frustrating. This book, by contrast, is a pure pleasure to use. I can read through a song I haven't heard in years, and feel like I'm producing a rendition that's credibly close to the hit recording.
