Book Review: What would you have wanted to know before you purchased the product?
Summary: 2 Stars
If I would see an excerpt (the first page) of this book I would never purchased it.
The speculation on current politically-popular US ideas might be interesting for an American, but the operative word here is 'current'. So instead of enjoying the gay romance I was constantly thinking, 'Would this writer write the same book 50 years ago? Did all of this come from his soul, his life-long observations, or it's just some trick to sell the story?'
Bottom line is - to be a good writer (well, all right, in democratic country, not in some dictatorship) all you need - is a simple writing talent. Nothing else. And definitely not a pol-pop, because it changes way to often.
