Book Reviews of the The God DelusionCustomer Review: Don't Confuse Supreme Wisdom with Religion Summary: 1 StarsReligion is man made. Therefore I agree with Dawkings that being of domestic origin, all of them are flawed. BUT one truth evades his theory. That creation in all its violence, beauty, discipline and awesomeness has the signatures of intelligence, wisdom, order, and perhaps purpose. This entire universe, whether it began with an amoeba, a grain of sand or an explosion, bear the signatures of supreme insight and intelligence. Some call this entity, God, Allah, Zeus, or whatever. But Man, in his futile attempt to answer unanswerable questions created religion. Only a Supreme Being, bearded or not and impossible for us to visualize or comprehend had the capacity to create the greatest miracle known to Man, that of Creation itself. Nothing comes from nothing, and scientists know that. Man's intelligence, his spirituality and human characteristics have shown a sacred inclination to accept and communicate with a Supreme Entity ever since the stone Age.
"The God Delusion" is another arrogant attempt to pit science against the omniscience and omnipresence of God. Common sense tells me that scientists in particular should be the ones promoting the existence of a Supreme Being regardless of how we name Him.
One common denominator shown throughout Dawkin's theory is that the more controversial a book is and the more it challenges the minds of the weak, the more dollars it brings to the author's pocket.
