I am a beginner or Traot, I bought 2 tarot card sets at once. Golden Tarot and Gilded Tarot. I did many researches from Internet and found that it would be the best for beginner. Actually, both card is great. However, the booklet for Gilded is a bit hard to understand and don't have explanation when the card in the reverse's side. The booklet of Golden Tarot is easy to understand and great for beginner...Anyway, both cards is excellent, but if you want to buy one only, I recommend the Golden Tarot.Book Review: Beautiful Deck

This is one of my new favorite decks. The images are vivid and beautiful, as well as inspiring. I would recommend this deck to beginners, and more advanced readers alike. The book that comes with the deck is very thorough and gives insightful interpretations of the cards. Also, it leaves room for the reader to make their own interpretations as he or she gets more advanced in reading tarot. I highly recommend investing in this deck. This is a DECK and GUIDEBOOK. This is PERFECT for a first deck or first time with Tarot. It is complete with deck, layout cards to get you going right away and a guidebook to help you get more meaning from your reading. I would say for an experience Tarot reader the art work is just phenomenal. The colors are rich and deep. The pictures are more works of art than quickie sketches. If you're interested in learning to read the Rider tarot, this is an excellent deck. It has lovely, bold imagery, that generate a strong impression. I started to learn the Tarot a little over a year ago, and this deck served me well in the process. I also now own a couple other decks, but it is still my favorite for reading.
