Book Reviews of The Gilded TarotBook Review: Stunningly beautiful Summary: 5 Stars
I think of all the decks I own, this is simply the most beautiful and I do collect quite a few. I have used it a bit and have been so quite impressed with their accuracy. I also work in the psychic field and will be incorporating this into my work very soon.
The book is a must have as it gives some very detailed information regarding numbers, suits, elements, etc. I strongly feel that this would be a wonderful starter deck for those who think the rider waite (also a great starter)is just a bit too plain as I do. I want beauty in my Tarot and the Gilded Tarot provides this nicely --- Witchy
Book Review: Bored by traditional Rider-Waite decks? Summary: 5 Stars
I was looking for a traditional Rider-Waite deck, but am bored by the boring colour schemes and 2d imagery used in most decks. This deck is based on the Rider-Waite (although some cards to differ). I've found myself just sorting through each card and enjoying the pictures rather than doing readings! However, doing readings with them is also very easy. The images lend themselves ot easy intuitive interpretation without the need for the accompanying book.
I would reccommend this deck to anyone without hesitation. I now have 5 decks and this one is fast becoming my favourite.
Book Review: A Visual Feast Summary: 5 Stars
This deck is visually stunning and one of the friendliest decks I own. Some decks just seem to have an aura of negativity or bad vibes surrounding them. Sounds strange, I know, but I had one deck that I actually threw away because it just never felt right to me and the readings seemed skewered somehow.
But I use this deck most often next to my trusty old Rider-Waite deck and the readings are always right on and magnificent to look upon. I would recommend this deck to both art lovers and to Tarot readers. You won't be disappointed.
Book Review: Awesome deck! Summary: 5 Stars
This is my favorite tarot cards deck. The cards are just beautiful and a joy to look at and read. I am an intermediate reader and I only read for myself. I own several decks among the Tarot of Marseilles, the Legend deck, Lover's Tarot and the Robin Wood deck but I get the most amazing accurate readings from the Gilded Tarot deck.
I do not use the book that came with the deck. For explanations and to read my readings I use the book Tarot Plain and Simple by Anthony Luis. These two combined along with my intuition work great for me.
Book Review: Gilded Pleasure Summary: 5 Stars
After perusing the web, reading several reviews and seeing samples of the art, this deck made it to the top of my wishlist for new decks to add to my collection. This deck is even more impressive in person. Artistically, it is beautifully done. The Majors could stand to portray (a little more) archetypal depth, but it is hard to say anything less positive about this deck. The artist definitely succeeded with the jewel tones, stained glass and more traditional effects where decks like the Art Nouveau (Yuppie) Tarot fell short. Bravo!
