Book Review: The BEST middle-school "ghost story" ever!
Summary: 5 Stars
This is THE book I remember most from my junior high school years. I remember staying up several nights reading it, unable to put it down and go to bed. The characters are so wonderful, the storytelling so rich, and the story itself is so thrilling and compelling. I'll never forget the delicious experience of reading this book for the first time. (Although, I'll admit I'm not really crazy about this latest cover design-- pretty garish.)
I'm now a junior high school English teacher and have tried unsuccessfully to order a set of this novel for my own classes, but it's no longer available, and I think that's such a shame! This should be a classic in every adolescent's library! WHAT CAN WE DO TO GET A RE-PRINTING OF THIS NOVEL?!
