Book Reviews of The Front

Book Review: What a Great Book!
Summary: 5 Stars

The Front was awesome! I loved the character's, Win Garano, Monique Lamont. I think it is good to have a change from Scarpette, Marino, Lucy and Benton even though I love these character's and will always read Ms. Cornwells novels on them, but the Front was great. It was hard to put down, you find yourself so in to this book being so serious and then you start laughing at one of the character's like Faronk and lets not forget Nana and Stump. If you haven't read The Front you need to get it, it is a very enjoyable read by Patricia Cornwell. Thank you for another great book, PLEASE keep them coming!!! Actually I enjoyed it so much I am going to read it again. She made this one different and I mean in a great way, I just can't say enough about The Front.

Book Review: BIG Time Success: Cornwell keeps it fresh with The Front
Summary: 5 Stars

Despite the serious BIG deals I am making happen over here Morocco, Big Guns had to take a timeout in the action for Patricia Cornwell's latest and greatest. The Front is no front ladies and gents, the buzz is BIG time for a reason. I have to say that I am jealous (although only in the very slightest, after all they do call me Big Guns) not to have a grandmother as legendary as Win's with all of her crazy potions and "craft". And who knew I didn't have to drop 60K (but why not when I can with all my HUGE deals?) to rock it in Armani like the rockstar that I am. I gotta hand it to Win- he is one sexy man. Can't wait for my next timeout (from all of my BIG deals) with the 3rd of this series.
-Big Guns making BIG deals... all the time

Book Review: The Front is a Must Read - Lifetime TV Made the Right Choice!
Summary: 5 Stars

For anyone who loves a good read, and wants to be thorougly entertained and kept in suspense, I highly recommend The Front, the newest novella (not a full length novel, mind you) by Patricia Cornwell, the woman who began the entire forensic crime genre with her Kay Scarpetta series. I wasn't certain how I'd feel about a completely new cast of characters, but I fell in love with them, especially Nana, in the first book, At Risk. The Front is the next installment in what I hope will be a new series featuring characters that range from delightfully wicked to heartachingly kind. I can certainly see why Lifetime television picked up Cornwell's novella series for production, as I would love to see these characters come to life on screen!

Book Review: WINNER ALL THE WAY
Summary: 5 Stars

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! I sat down to glance over "The Front" by Patricia Cornwell after a long hard day at work. The book pulled me right in and there I sat reading it cover to cover into the evening. I was left wanting it to go on and on. I loved the twists and turns through out the book. The ending actually caught me off guard. I definitely thought it was going in a different direction. I was quite happy.

I have heard that Lifetime is possibly making this into a network movie. I think it would be great. The characters in the book are definitely unique. I love Nana. I wish I had a nana just like her. I look forward to following the lives of Win, Stump and the others.

Book Review: Another Gem!
Summary: 5 Stars

Patricia Cornwell has a real knack for developing characters in a way that gets to the reader's heart. The lives of Win and Nana are more than interesting and I feel connected to them already, even though this is only their second appearance. As a Scarpetta fan, it was hard for me to believe that a totally new cast of characters could be created that I would become instantly involved in...but that is just what happened. The characters are full of surprising quirks as in real life and the story is classic Cornwell..with all the different threads of the story neatly coming together to provide a great ending. I enjoyed this book and look forward to more outings with Win, Stump, Nana and Lamont.
