Such a delight!Read outloud to my husband as he smiles when I mispronounce my French words.Trying to Collect All of Madame Child's Memories~in Food and Life. I bought this little book several years ago. I am not a great cook at all, but I have made several of the dishes including: the exellent beef stew, many of the potato recipies and the great queen of sheba cake, plus others. I have never made anything that has been less than excellent!! Buy this book!Book Review: my second copy

I purchased this one to replace a disintegrating old copy of the mass paperback printed in acidic paper. It is a great cookbook. My only gripe is that the old one had a foreword on measurements and tables of equivalents. Gone in this edition. Otherwise, it is fine.Book Review: Julia Child!
