Book Reviews of The Feast of All SaintsBook Review: Perhaps my favorite novel. Summary: 5 Stars
Anne Rice is one of the most talented authors writing fiction today. In this, the best novel she's written that I've read, she takes us on the journey of a young man, Marcel, into adulthood, a journey not unlike that taken by Dickens's Pip. At once a fascinating story and a poignant view of American history. This is a must read
Book Review: I couldn't put it down Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book! The characters are so well developed, and the story is so intricate that this book just draws you in and doesn't let go. Her descriptions are amazing--New Orleans is practically a character of its own in this novel. Anne Rice is a brillant writer, and in The Feast of All Saints, she got it exactly right.
Book Review: I loved it Summary: 5 Stars
I have read many of Anne Rice books, and this one works just as well. Although the description is overwhelming, and there aren't any of our favourite vampires, I still feel like I can empathise with all the characters, and find myself drawn into New Orleans in the 1700's.
Book Review: Good value Summary: 5 Stars
I received the book in excellent condition. A very good value. Our book group gave this book a "10". A superior piece of writing by Anne Rice.
Book Review: A good read for delving into your soul. Summary: 5 Stars
This was the first Anne Rice novel I read on a spring break from college. I cried, I got mad, I fell in love. Excellent.
