Book Reviews of the The Diana ChroniclesCustomer Review: author wastes your time Summary: 1 Stars
It's pretty pathetic that the writer, Tina Brown, a businesswoman who unsuccessfully tried to launch a magazine called "Talk" that featured forgettable celebrities in its pages, has to clutch for greater glory by writing about Princess Diana. Perhaps Brown is by nature an opportunist who saw an opportunity to line her pockets with the gains from the death of a celebrity. Given her lack of genuine new reporting, it's hard to think otherwise. Perhaps she really cares about her subject, but it's doubtful, given her unmistakable disdain for Diana and all that she stood for. Brown sounds like a petty, forgotten runner-up for prom queen who only wishes she had the same substance as Diana.
