Book Reviews of The Devil's Punchbowl: A NovelBook Review: Typical Greg Iles Summary: 5 Stars
Iles' writing is always a blending of talent and skill. He weaves complex tales with complex characters, but always holds his reader's interest throughout. I always look forward to new books by Greg, and have yet to be disapointed. He also does not, like so many current writers, keep writing the same book over and over, with only cosmetic changes. His work is always fresh and creative.
Book Review: One of His Best Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great character and place driven read, wound around a mystery that is well-crafted, as well as informative. I always like to learn something, even from fiction, and Iles doesn't disappoint. In fact, after reading the book, I really want to go visit Natchez, the scene of this and some of his other books. The best news is that he's committed to another Penn Cage book soon!
Book Review: Fandamntabulous! Summary: 5 Stars
I truly enjoyed this book from a great author. Lots of action, a good plot and our dear friend Penn Cage. Some of the subject matter is a bit disturbing, but that aside, it was a thrilling, page flipping story with a cliffhanger ending. All the Penn Cage books make me want to visit Natchez which seems to be the stereotypical hotbed of Southern living. Great read!
Book Review: Best book I have read, although Greg Iles always writes great stories Summary: 5 Stars
I enjoyed this book, as I have all of his books and he can't write fast enough for me. I would highly recommend his stores for all adults and be prepared to leave all your' other obligations piling in an area that you can resume after the book is done. Can't put it down. The book from Amazon was in perfect condition, no disappointment ever at Amazon.
Book Review: Great Book! Summary: 5 Stars
Yep, Greg Iles has another bestseller. He opened my eyes to the prevalence of dogfighting (think Michael Vicks) in the US. Reading this book is like settling in with comfortable characters. The story line is large and vast. His writing style is smooth and enjoyable. The dialogue is top notch. Definitely a winner!
