Book Reviews of The Devil's Labyrinth: A NovelBook Review: Worst Book I've read In Some Time Summary: 1 Stars
The characters in this story are undeveloped and, mostly, unbelievable. If that had been the main drawback then the story might still have been salvageable (i.e., the plot showed some promise and did capture my interest). However, the ending must be considered among the worst of all time. The story's climax falls on its face. It completely fails to satisfy and will likely confuse readers. It is shocking that Mr. Saul's editor allowed this story to go to print.
Book Review: Disappointing at best Summary: 1 Stars
I have read almost all of Saul's books and this one proved to be very disappointing. I was very excited to begin reading it, but ended up dragging myself through it just to finish it. Most scenes that were meant to be scary or thrilling were really just disturbing. I found the religious aspects of it to be in bad taste. This is definately not his best work! If you're looking for a great Saul book, try some of his others and leave this one alone.
Book Review: Terrible Summary: 1 Stars
Just an awful book. Like the author would get stuck and then make something random up to continue the story. Just terrible.
