Book Reviews of The Definitive Book of Body Language

Book Review: Demonstrates Great Knowledge About Body Language
Summary: 5 Stars

At first I was a bit skeptical about this book. However it has exceeded my expectations for reading the non-verbal clues in my personal and business life. I feel that I have become a much better communicator after reading applying the principles of this book. It's a very easy read and all their information is backed up by the latest research. The easy to follow pictures and illustrations enhance the concepts. You will be quick to figure out when someone is not giving you the full story, they think they are superior to you or what your boss thinks of your proposal. It even goes as far as how to set up your office to make meetings more relaxed or more official.

Book Review: A must read for us dumb guys
Summary: 5 Stars

For all males out there, I encourage you to drag up a copy of this book and read it, pronto. This book reveals that men are left out in the dark cold world of incommunicato, where women have the leverage of superior body language reading skills whilst we men are merely apes incapable of reading the body language of others and revealing all of insidious intents to the women-folk out there. Seriously, this was a great and fun read filled with hints and tips to further human capacity for communication, a skill that most of us Neanderthals seem to be in immediate need of.

Book Review: 30 Years of Experience
Summary: 5 Stars

Barbara and Allan Pease have been studying this topic for thirty years and this is their latest book about how body language speaks volumes. While much of the book discusses how we can read others' body language, the authors also offer important tips for us about our own language and the messages we're sending. We can influence people just by how we hold ourselves. Hmmmm. Interesting. This is a good read for how to influence others to both see things your way and to see you the way you want to be seen. The book also includes helpful illustrations along with the authors' discussions.

Book Review: Very interesting, entertaining book
Summary: 5 Stars

I first read a portion of this book when killing time at Barnes and Noble and decided to come back and order off of Amazon for much cheaper. It was a lot of fun to read and the things I learned have really raised my awareness of how people use body language to communicate - even if they don't realize they are doing it.

I recommend this book as it can only help you become more aware of your own body language and the body language of others. I've been able to use things I read in this book both in personal relationships and in the office as well.

Book Review: You gotta start somewhere!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this book! Despite what Pineywoods Man says. Hey man, you gotta start somewhere. Most people are clueless about body language. This where you start. If he knows so much he should write a book. Also, he seems to hate most of books he's reviewed. So, take his review with caution. I wish you could rate other peoples reviews. Don't try to use it to launch your career as an interrogator, thou. All around it's awesome. It has pictures & drawings to help you out. It also teaches a little cold reading & nlp! Use it to help you meet women!! Get it now!!!
