I found the first Paddy Meehan novel, Field of Blood, as a hand me down in the lobby of my building. I didn't know who Denise Mina was but read the book anyway. I was hooked. I could not find the Dead Hour, the second novel in the series, so I had to order from Amazon. I found the third book in the series locally (The Last Breath) and I'm nearly done with that one. This is an excellent series, and I encourage anyone who enjoys mystery novels to read this series from the start.
