Here's a book of classic poems, a fun read for you and your family. The poems here include: I THOUGHT I SAW A RAINBOW, A DREAM IN A JAR, THE LIGHT SHINING 'ROUND THE WORLD, PEACE IS HALF A FIST, MOLLY MULLINS, THE WAR NOBODY FOUGHT, and many others. There are also poems of historical importance, including THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, THE DAY THE TOWERS FELL, THE LAST DAY OF THE CENTURY, and JOHN F. KENNEDY. Some of the poems rhyme, most do not, but all of them are enjoyable to read and contain some thought or opinion that make this collection highly recommended. There are some humerous poems here like WHEN THE LION SNORED, THE ROAST AND THE CHEESE and THE ELFIN BOY. I really think you'll love these poems as I did. The title poem is a tribute to Barack Obama's presidential victory, THE DAY THE DREAM CAME TRUE. It and the other poems will keep you wanting more. Highly recommended.
