Book Review: A moving experience

I just finished reading this book which is the first I've ever read by Elizabeth Berg. I loved it. It touched me so. I laughed out loud through much of it and cried like a baby through other parts. How she is able to capture the tenderness of friendships I don't know, but she does. My favorite stories were Over the Hill and into the Woods and Mrs. Ethel Menafee and Mrs. Birdie Stoltz. I also liked How to Make an Apple Pie. Her writing reminded me of people I knew growing up. I was flooded with memories. I want to buy a copy of this book for my sister and my special female friends so they might enjoy reliving their own experiences through her writing.
