Book Review: The Title says it all!! One of the best reference guides available!!

This book is a wonderful guide to the use of crystals. The photos and accompanying information for each type of crystal is thorough and excellent. The book has a wonderful index in the back that you can use to look up your specific ailment/problem, and it will show you the crystals that will assist with it. It also contains sections about the Background of crystals (how they form), Crystal care (cleaning etc), Crystal meditation, and Crystal Forms/Shapes.
A Quick reference guide is also included with various subsections including: Crystals and the Chakras (lists each chakra and which crystals work for each chakra, including layout diagrams), Crystal Correspondences (lists each body part/organ and which crystals will bring it back into balance along with diagrams of the human body, so you can see where each organ is located etc. There is a section on Gem Remedies, which teaches you how to make your own Gem Elixir, as well as a list of crystals and what each elixir treats. The next section is about Crystal Layouts and Grids, again with diagrams and examples of issues (such as Alleviating Stress, or Stimulating the immune system) and teaches you how to use particular crystals in grids/layouts to relieve these problems. Next there is a Divinatory Meanings section, where you will learn how to use your crystals for divination purposes. Finally, there is a Glossary, and the final index that I mentioned earlier where you can search.
This book is a smaller sized book, but rather thick. I comfortably carry it in my oversized bag/carry all, so I can refer to it on a day to day basis (at work etc). I cannot believe the amount of information that is jam packed in this book. It is very consise, easy to understand, and simple to find a solution, especially if you are in a hurry. I highly recommend this book as a must have for any person who is interested in crystals, and it costs far less then it's actual worth. I have many books on crystals, but this is the one that I refer to on a daily basis, along with another book by Judy Hall called the Encyclopedia of Crystals, however given it's size (it's a very large book), The Crystal Bible is my favourite nightstand, bookbag/purse reference guide as it is much more compact. It is the book that I often will purchase as a gift for friends who are interested in crystals. You can easily keep it at your desk, and refer to it during the day at the office, and then bring it with you when you go home, or on your after work activities. You would be surprised at the number of times I've been asked about a problem and whipped out my handy Crystal Bible for an answer! Long story short, if you were to get only one book on crystals, this is it!!!
