Book Review: Can't keep it on the shelf but want to

A friend once told me that this was THE books to read, and that she had the book on her shelf at home, but every singe time a guest came to stay, and started reading the Conrete Blonde, they left with the book in hand. She'd buy another copy - and same thing happened, time and time again.
So I got the book. And my friend and her guests were right. This is a gripping story of a woman found planted in concrete, and how Harry B delves into the case, haunted by this woman's grisly death.
It's led me to the other Harry B books, and happily!
Book Review: Connelly's Best (so far)

After reading a few of Connelly's more recent novels, I decided to go back and read the Harry Bosch books in order. The Concrete Blonde is the third installment, and in my opinion, it is the best one so far. While Bosch is on trial for shooting a man suspected of being a serial killer called the Dollmaker, another victim is discovered who appears to have been killed after the shooting. Bosch must investigate the crime and determine if he shot an innocent man.Book Review: Another Good Mystery from Michael Connelly

This mystery is a good page-turner, a good read for plane or vacation. Connelly's writing is always a turn above most other mystery writers.
There are several twists and turns in this book as Detective Harry Bosch looks for a serial killer, deals with issues in his own past and becomes enmeshed in a legal battle.
I recommend this book for a fun read.
