Book Review: Solid Bosch!!

This is the third installment in the Bosch series. Harry is in court because of a civil suit resulting from his killing in the "Dollmaker" Case four years earlier. Now there is a copycat killer out there. As usual, Mr. Connelly does an excellent job of weaving the police procedural with his flawed,hero Harry Bosch. The plot twists and turns will keep you reading deep into the night.Book Review: Outstanding.

What a piece of work! Mr Connelly did it again brilliantly. One of the best works on the Harry Bosch's series (probably the best). If you're looking for a book that keeps you reading by the hours, this is your best choice. And let Harry Bosch, Sylvia, Edgar, the Dollmaker and the Follower do the service for your entertainment. I've read most of the Harry Bosch books, but had missed this one. It's really great, throwing the reader off track repeatedly, with unexpected twists and turns. Unfortunately, I didn't like his most recent book, "9 Dragons." "The Reversal" is coming out soon, and I hope he returns to the great form of Concrete Blond. I have read several of Michael Connelly's books. This is among the best of American writing. You cannot go wrong. This is not pulp fiction. In Borsch, Connelly has makes a fascinating character real. The plot twists and turns. Expect to loose some sleep because Connelly makes it come alive and you will not want to hit "stop".Book Review: Fast Paced Thriller

Very good story telling here and I have always admired Connelly's ability to develop characters and provide imagery to the reader. In Concrete Blonde, you feel as though you're right in the middle of the action.
The outcome in this one was totally unpredictable.
