I have a number of woodworking books and each one shows how the author like to do joints and then gives you various "projects". This is great for the beginner, but what I need now is a reference book of all the joints and the various ways in which to make them. This book really fills that need. I think if you are just beyond the beginner and need a great reference, this is for you.Book Review: Awesome Detail

The amount of detail that this book provides is awesome. It is as thick as a textbook, with lots of pictures for those of us who have forgotten most of our college education. But seriously, the amount of detail provided for each method of joinery is unmatched. There isn't another book I would rather have on this subject. This book is worth the money at any price! The information is explained so that anyone can understand it and it also has all color illustrations to make it even easier to understand. this book along with the other Tautons press books in this series sits right next to my bench. I use it often for a reference. You wont be disappointed if your a serious woodworker.Book Review: Great Book!!

I find this book to be a really great illustration on how to cut every joint in woodworking that I know of and some I've never seen. I think the author does a really good job explaining and showing how to cut all these joints. I really enjoyed this book and would highly recomend it to anyone that enjoys woodworking.Book Review: Very Good Book

This is a very good book, very complete. The book assumes a basic knowledge of woodworking. The only thing that I could do without is some of the detailed process for using specific advanced wood working machines that most of us do not have, like a horizontal router, but I just skipped those pages.
