Book Review: Smart!

Synthia Andrews has really done her homework on all things Mayan and makes esoterica seem easy, simple and clear. She has a talent for interpreting the cosmological viewpoints of the Maya, the Gods, calendars, Time, math & Holy Books with great insight and translates what we would refer to today as chi and zeitgeist. Everything is in context as there are many chapters and sidebars for notes and definitions. Never have i gotten scattered,lost or confused as can happen in scholarly texts. She dispels some misconceptions too. The Mayans were metaphysical but their society was well ordered and more highly conscious than the legendary MU/Lemuria and Atlantis. I am merely giving a sketch of the first 1/3 of the book which is all things Mayan. There is much more like todays global concerns, climate change, health, science, prophecy, epidemics etc. The bottom line is the suggestion to focus on positive change and transformation rather than dwell on the destruction of the old and what is no longer sustainable. A valuable resource. Enjoy!
