The Complete Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch is a provocative collection of books about the authors relation with God. Walsch spends years writing down questions about religion and god on a legal pad. Out of the blue god starts answering them. It becomes relatively multifarious at times. I'm glad to see people are interested in what God has to say in this day and age.

Healthy scepticism is always a good thing, so long as you don't close your mind! Read with an open mind and heart, there is little in this book that doesn't make deepest sense - you just know it's got many a profound truth in its pages. Whether you can accept its origins as stated or not, it gives a clear message about how to live your life day to day, minute to minute, and give it a whole new meaning and sense of purpose. Not to mention a healthy "re-minder" that only you can drive your own life - how many religions will tell you that? I'm recommending this to everyone I can who seems to be ready for it. I purchased this book after I saw the movie......the movie was the appetizer and the book (volumes 1-3) is a delightful, savory, thought provoking, life changing main course that you can't get enough of. This is an important book for this time, I pray that people can really wrap their heads and hearts around this and affect a positive change in their individual lives, the planet and in the universe. This book could affect a "do over" for humanity if people open up to all this love, drink it in and pass it on. His new book "Happier than God" I think will be a sumptuous desert. What took me so long to discover this phenomenal book. Although I am always very skeptical of this type of litterature, I must admit that I was moved, touched and guided by this book. I heard about Tome 1 almost 10 years ago, but the title was too "religious" for my own beliefs.
Well, let me tell you this. This is NOT a religious book. This is an illuminating book, no matter what "clan" you belong to. In fact, I wish every religious leader and every human being would read this book and realize the thruth that it contains. We would live peacefully and happy forever and ever.

This book is by far the most profound book I have read. I actually went looking for another book and ended up buying this one without any knowledge of its existence. I am on Book 3 now and for sure it feels like God is talking to ME! Personally! All answers to any questions that I ever had! Whether you like what you hear or not, you have to either accept or reject it as a whole. You cannot pick and choose what you want or like to believe. I have been recommending this book to everybody I think would care. Remember - "In the absense of that which you are not, that which you are, is not."
