when i was told about this book i laughed...because of the title i thought it was a 'geek'... but a friend asked me to 'trust her on that and just give it a try' so i did. picked up the book at barnes&nobles and couldn't stop reading.... there was a moment when i wanted to throw it against the wall or burn it (since i have been raised on the holocaust trauma) but i decided to continue reading... if you let yourself think outside the box and leave aside all the judgments you've been taught to accept as truths, you will find this book extremely interesting and liberating. thank you mr. walsch for your courage in the world where everyone wants to impose god made in their image on us...Book Review: The best book I have ever read

This is the everyone have to read, to change the world, to find heaven, to love each other , to stop all the bad is happening around us, this is the book for all kinds of religions, this is the book that we all have to put to practice,If you want to stop the global warming read this book.If you want to know how special you are read it.If you want to transform your life read it ,If you think you have the power to think read it, but if you are the kind of person who do not like to think , and instead want everyone else to deside for you, if you just vote for whoever everyone is voting for and don't want to move a finger to change the world then don't read it. Throughout my adult life I have studied every single religion and popular philosophical perspective available. I saw the movie about the life of this author and was inspired to seek out what the 'message' he had written was. I do not know if it is a true 'conversation with God,' but that fact matters little. This book is filled with a unique perspective that could save the world by mending the conflict currently caused by the differences between faiths. I have purchased copies for just about everyone I know who is receptive to new insight. I wish that every person in the world could put aside their predispositions and read this book series with an open mind.Book Review: Highly recommended for all path seekers

Many ideas presented really make you revisit your idea of yourself and everything around you, because they challenge nearly every assumption that we have. The gentle words spoken in the book are lovingly comforting to the soul. And, the messages are so powerful that can change your world. To the critics, I encourage you to open up and free your mind from personal beliefs and assumptions, and give this book a chance to reveal itself to you. I seriously doubt that Mr. Walsch is the only person to have had the kind of experience he documents in this book, but for many, if not most people, encountering God in such a personal manner is thought to be impossible, and perhaps not a very comfortable notion. Thanks to the few, like Mr. Walsch, who decide not to deny the event, others may be re-minded just how far from God we are not. When the answers God gives to the questions Mr. Walsch poses don't conform to common assumptions about the nature of God and ourselves, God invites us to question our assumptions and to join in these uncommon dialogues. Perhaps others of us will share our experiences.
