Book Review: Great for Early Elementary NOT Older Beginner Students

I have been searching for a workbook to use with Junior High students just beginning Spanish. This is not the book!
The consumable workbook states it is for grades 1-3 and it is definitely so. I had hoped that an older new Spanish student would be able to use it but it is too babyish for that.
The pages are filled with big coloring book type pictures and students are asked to connect a line from ten English words to the Spanish word. Or a page of learning numbers will have six problem, the numeral is written and the student is asked to circle that number of monkeys, birds etc. There are coloring pages for going over color word.

I like the learning cards at the back that can be cut out and laminated for learning and review. The Spanish is on one side, English on the other.
There are also some pages that can be laminated and put up around the room showing for example, a face with all its parts labeled or a page with clothing and the various pieces named in Spanish.
If you are not familiar with Spanish but would like to teach it, this is a great resource as every Spanish word is translated into English for you.
