Shenon was extremely thorough and accurate based upon my diligent study of the 911 crime. Shenon missed some critical facts but he and the NYT also purposely misled America on purpose.
The second after the first plane hit the north tower every NYC reporter ran to the WTC. This entire crime was captured on film not only by reporters but also by private photographers. To completely ignore this evidence is an astounding problem by Shenon. The most revealing part of THE COMMISSION is the frequent times Shenon mentions that Bush had been warned more than 40 times directly face to face at the PDB (Presidential Daily Briefings). See page 151 & 152. Shenon writes about these warnings throughout the book.

The COMMISSION was held in 2004. THE COMMISSION was published in 2008. Shenon and the NYT deliberately failed to report the dozens of warnings Bush received.
Shenon wants his readers to believe that Bush was incoherent during the months before 911 and never reacted to the more than 40 warnings. There are clear pictures that show the south tower exploding while in contrast the north tower is burning and smoking. There are clear pictures that show thousands of steel beams laying as far away from the towers as 600 feet in all directions. These beams are cut clean. No jet fuel fire can cut steel beams and blast them (they weigh tons) onto the roofs of buildings far from the towers. The law of gravity was not repealed on 911.
Only controlled demolition is capable of providing this evidence Shenon decided to ignore. Only a team of experts able to avoid the security of the Port Authority cops could rig the charges and the intricate detonation system. Another critical piece of evidence is the fact that all 3 towers dropped within a second of free fall speed directly straight down.
All the reviewers missed these points. With this in mind I encourage rereading this critical book. Keep in mind the more than 40 warnings is a powerful story compared to girl friends of Tiger Woods. The girl friend story was broadcast night and day from Thanksgiving until the Masters.
