Book Review: WOW! The next STAR WARS ... Awesome author!
Summary: 5 Stars
Like the following reviewer, this book caught my eye because of its interesting, colorful cover, but I hesitated because I had not heard of this author. So I took it one step further and checked the publisher. This publishing house seems very discreet, selective in what it publishes AND it does great follow-up for its authors, so I decided that if they had that much faith in James Somers then I could take the chance.
Boy, am I glad I did! I would not have missed this exciting read for anything. Can't wait for the next one in the series.
I also hear this may soon become a comic book. With this author's gift for description, I can envision an awesome comic book, but going a step further (as I'm prone to do), I can also see this book as a big-screen production on the order of STAR WARS and STAR TREK. I think it would translate on the big screen much better than Harry Potter did. FYI, I'm a huge fan of good ol' Harry, but just think this book is more suited to what sci-fi fantasy fans have come to expect. I can imagine a future filled with outrageously fun SOONE conventions with fans dressed in the costumes of their favorite characters that sprang from the mind of James Somers.
Action! Thrills! Surprises! Suspense! This book has all that and more: more twists and turns than a California freeway of the L.A. variety.
THE CHRONICLES OF SOONE is a spirutal journey of freedom and justice too! Can't ask for more than that ... except sequel after sequel!
