Book Review: Great history of early NBA Boston Celtics
Summary: 5 Stars
Detail account of individuals of the early 1950's in picture form,bring back memories of the great players of early NBA. I remember watching celtics on TV,and wanting to be Sam Jones or k.c. jones. I did go on and play college ball. Great book, I recommenit be introduced to younger generation for them to get an understanding of the early days of NBA.

Founded by Walter Brown in 1946, the Boston Celtics are one of the two charter members of the NBA, along with the New York Knickerbockers, to play in their city of origin. They are also the most honored franchise in professional basketball history, with 16 world titles to date. The list of hall of fame players to wear Celtic green includes an impressive roster of Bob Cousy, Bill Russell, John Havlicek, Sam Jones, Tom Heinsohn, Dave Cowens, Larry Bird, and Kevin McHale to name just a few. Under the guidance of legendary head coach Red Auerbach, the Celtics established a seemingly unbreakable record of consecutive championships, with eight straight from 1959 to 1966. They are one of the few powerhouse dynasties in North American sports.
