I did not purchase this book on Amazon, but I had to write a review anyway. I got my copy of The Cage on a trip to the Holocaust museum with my family, when I was in the 5th grade. On the drive back, I did nothing but read this book. Since then (I'm now 19) I've re-read it so many times that it's falling apart. Riva's story is compelling, heart wrenching, and still beautiful and courageous.
This is an excellent read for anyone, regardless of age.
I'm going to purchase a new copy, because mine is so battered that I feel like my next read could be my last. You'll read this over and over and love it every time.
