Book Review: A TRULY BELIEVABLE LOVE STORY
Summary: 5 Stars
The story unfolds through the eyes of children after the death of their mother. Everyone on this earth has their secrets. Some are never told -- some, like this one, are revealed on a persons death. These children were now grown -- and could understand their mothers intense feelings. The version I saw on T.V. was beautifully acted out. I can still remember the emotional impact it had on me.Book Review: I adored this novel!

Many people thought this novel was drivel & poorly-written. I disagree wholeheartedly. It isn't often that I finish a book & hold it to my chest, close my eyes, take a long, deep breath & feel the passion and pain of the characters. Bridges of Madison County is a sweet little love story. If you are looking for a quick read and like authors along the same lines as Nicholas Sparks or Will North, you will like this book. I would recommend it to whoever is a romantic at heart. Bridges would make for an excellent summer read on the beach or wherever you might be.
