Book Reviews of The Bridges of Madison CountyBook Review: THE BESTEST LOVE STORY EVER WRITTEN!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I love the book, in fact reread it 3 times and it never failed to touch me deeply. I just wonder how readers could give it a 1 to 4 or even 7 book rating when the author incorported lots of deep and meaningful language, colorful comparizons.. i.e. Peregrine. For me it is a "10" ten times over. I specially love the scene where Francesca was in the car with her husband and watching Robert Kincaid drive away....I cried my heart out on that scene. This book will stay with me forever!!!!

has experienced the pain of love lost, I find the comparison offensive. Women are far truer to themsleves when it comes to loyalty. Francesca kept her promise to her marriage and to her children all the while knowing the frustration of love lost. This is romantic writing at its best with an ability to touch at the core of the pain. I would recommend that all those who missed the point re-read it. Placing the "Fridges" on the same level is a testament cynicism.
Book Review: this book contains the natural beauty of pain and love. Summary: 5 Stars
b.o.m.c. explores chance, life, love, and choices. this book appealed to me as a photographer, woman, romantic, and human. r.j.w. takes the time to set the mood and timeframe of this country setting, as well as the time to wrap the relationship of these two people around the reader, so that the feelings are real, and the novel's journey is unstoppable. i've read it three times, and i can never put it down until the last page. a masterpiece and a work of art.
Book Review: love, love, love this book and the movie Summary: 5 Stars
Love this book. Have read it many times and watched the movie over and over again. You CAN fall forever in love in a short amount of time! I would have loved for Francesca to leave with Robert! The first time I read the book I cried until I had the snubs reading it! Then I read it aloud to my husband. He loved it as well. Here we are 15 yrs later still loving it! The scene of Robert standing in the rain in the middle of the road was heart breaking!
Book Review: This book stirred memories of a love lost deep in my soul. Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book. I found myself crying openly at the very end. I was so moved with the way that Waller was able to portray the most intimate details that one feels about someone who sparks something deep within their heart. Waller captured the feeling that comes along with falling in love for the first time, and coming face to face with someone who represents your first half. The one who makes you who you are. The one who defines love.
