Book Review: Very descent and great to play

I read two other reviews for this book and quite honestly, I cannot agree. Yes, the key for most songs are pretty high, but that's to be expected, as the singer is a tenor. Also, it says right there on the cover: Piano, Vocal-so there should be no surpirse that the second reviewer did not get the biography or Tynan she was looking for.
The songs are some of my favorite classics: Amazing Grace, God bless America, You raise me up, Danny boy, From a distance. The arrangments are pretty melodic and pleasant to the ear. Half of them are original-means, I have not seen the same arrangments in any other book. They are not meant to be played as a solo, as the first reviewer lamented, they are to be played with the voice. However, the chords are provided, so if one wished to transpose them into a lower key, if you are skilled to do so, you can do it. Ovarall, I am very happy with my purchase.
