We love Roald Dahl! Both of my sons loved this book, age six was just about perfect for both of them. It is exciting and silly and even though the main character is a girl, they were still able to relate and be engaged by the story. Lots of fun! They learned a lot from this book too! They like to refer to any kind of vegetable as a snozzcumber (read the book - you'll understand!)
