LIFE has done an excellent job in capturing Obama's "journey"---from the beginning to present! The book is an excellent combination of text and pictures. In addition to summarizing his successful political life, the book also gives a realistic and well-rounded view of Senator Barack Obama's life as a man, husband and father. I gave this book to two young men as a gift. I ordered it so I never saw it but trusted the other reviews. The men truly enjoyed the gift and mentioned that they would treasure it. One of the men has a collection of books. He stated that friends interested in seeing his book would have to wash their hands first because he doesn't want anyone to ruin the wonderful photos. I bought this book in the moment but I will treasure it forever as a treasure. The photos are amazing and the information is timeless. I love the hardback cover, I consider it a blessing to own it and it will grace my table for years to come. My grandchildren will see it and their children I pray.
