Bottom line: what an awesome story teller; rich in personal experiences. rich in culture. If you are interesting in reading a novel to learn about other cultures and the impact it has on a woman in a secular society - this is a book worth reading. I could not put the book down.
shocker for me: the author is a guy and he wrote such an amazing and intricate plot evolving around a young woman. I dont want to give the plot away; but the experience was very moving for me.
