As Detective Lindsay Boxer investigates a high-profile murder in San Francisco, she discovers other connections involving the Women's Murder Club's finest minds - including a parallel search by reporter Cindy Thomas. When romance begins to bud as well, the Women's Murder Club faces threats not just to careers and lives but to long-standing friendships in this complex story recommended for any library strong in murder mysteries in general or with prior fans of The Women's Murder Club mysteries by Patterson.
Book Review: Lindsey Boxer does it again. Summary: 5 Stars
The "Murder Club" is a book I always look forward to. I love Lindsey and her pals, especially Claire. She's the matriach of the crew and her input is right on when it comes to solving the mystery. It was good that Conklin finally got a girlfriend in Cindy. He's wanted Lindsey for so long but it just wasn't meant to be. She belongs with Joe, another character that I love.
All in all, Patterson does it again in keeping me wrapped up in the story. A quick read and well done.
Book Review: the 8th confession Summary: 5 Stars
This book has lived up to the other women's murder club books. James Patterson is one of my favorite authors and he has yet to disappoint me in any of his books. I really like the characters in the Women's Murder Club series because of their strength and their compassion for life. I was in a very abusive marriage for over 20 years and I strive to be like them in their strength and love for life.
Book Review: lcreads Summary: 5 Stars
Another winner by James Patterson. It was nice to, once again, follow the characters of these crime fighting friends. Patterson has injected real foibles into these characters that many can relate to. The snake idea was certainly creative and the side story of bagman Jesus was a graphic picture of society. Can't wait for #9.
Book Review: 8th Confession Summary: 5 Stars
Once again, Patterson and his collaborator have produced a story worthy of the highest mystery writer award. I am amazed at the ease with which the books flow. No plot is ever the same. I did not figure out the solution -- and had to restrain myself from turning to the end of the story. I highly recommend this mystery novel.
