Book Reviews of The 5th Horseman (The Women's Murder Club)

Book Review: Great Continuation of Series
Summary: 4 Stars

5th Horseman was a great continuation in the Women's Murder Club series. Definately kept my interest the whole way through!

Book Review: 5th Horseman
Summary: 4 Stars

Excellent condition for a used book, and the delivery very speedy. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Book Review: so confused
Summary: 3 Stars

yes, the book was great, very intense in part. But the last few chapters were so scattered I felt like i had to go back to see what I had somehow missed. And the whole car murders inbetween seemed lifeless. I never truly understood what that was all about. If someone figured out how the night watcher and the doctor were involved I would be happy to have them explain it to me. Otherwise it seems like night watcher followed him around killing people and then he took all the credit for the murders in a round about way to win the court case. weird.

Book Review: Good read, but not the best of the WMC series
Summary: 3 Stars

While this was an enjoyable read, it wasn't as good as some of the other Women's Club mysteries. The character of Yuki, the lawyer, gets developed more as she's a big part of one of the cases but the resulting drama appears too staged. I also didn't enjoy the two cases in this one. They made it seem like two separate stories instead of one.

Book Review: Not Really Patterson
Summary: 3 Stars

I love Patterson, but this book left me pretty cold. I don't know if the co-author wrote most of this or what, but I was not terribly impressed with the story or the writing. Just my personal opinion; I loved books one and two.
