Book Review: nice basic review

This is a nice basic review of anatomy/physiology. Most other review books which are just as thick and long as the text book and hence not really suitable as a review manual. This book will require that you do have textbook on the subject so that you can follow up on the area you are weak in. This is what makes this book valuable, it ask basic question that you should know once you have gone through a course and in the grade youself section it clues you into where you need to re read i your testbook. for example lets say i brezzed through most of the question on the cardiac system and at the end inoticed that i got question 16 18 and 19 wrong. this book will help you pinpoint your weakness. in the above case it will say that the three questions are related to electrocardiagram, and hence i know to go to my textbook and just re read the ecg section of the cardiovascular system instead of the entire chapter. Overall a very nice book for a quick review. but this book can not be used with out a textbook for reference. And i dont think this is a good review for anyone taking a medical board exam, since medical students will need some more in depth. The other thing i did not like is the editing, i was going to give it 4stars but realized this is not the fault of the author but rather the editor. in some chapters the match questions and answers are scatter around several pages. for example question one match mifht have its answer three pages later and question two answer might be on the same page. instead of grouping ll the answer choices together in one area they were scattered over severAl pages.
