Book Review: Fantastic manga, terrible translation!

This is one of my absolute favorite manga series ever. The story is so complex and compelling you'll be amazed. It starts out as a comedy, but it becomes so serious and tragic toward the end of the series that you can't help crying. The characters are wonderful, and gradually develop throughout the series as more secrets are revealed. The romance is the most heart-warming, and heart-breaking, I've ever read. But the horrible translation in this version completely destroys the personalities of the characters! I can not recommend that anyone read this version of the story. Do a search for MangaFox, go to the manga directory, and read the version they have there. It's not perfect but it's leagues better than this travesty. Please don't judge this story by the version they have here. It doesn't do it justice at all.

NEW SERIES! Six years ago, young Shinobu left her rural village to go to school in the big city. Before she left, she told her friend Saizou to grow up strong so he could someday come and protect her. Now, at age sixteen, shes fairly well adjusted to life at the Tokyo Private Imperial Academy. But when a male exchange student comes to the school, it turns out to be none other than Saizou! Although his appearance hasnt changed much, he is now a skilled ninja, and his arrival couldnt be more timely: someone is out to get Shinobu, and no one knows who or why.
