Book Review: Not His Best Stuff

The best part of this book is the cover; the truth is the early work is not very interesting and some of the comics reproduced here with the jungle themes reflect the softcore racism of the 1950s (african blacks are mindless savages, etc); Frazetta is a genius and I'm a huge fan - I own every book. I just think this is stuff best left forgotten. Save your money and buy Frank Frazetta by the Alexandar Gallery - it compiles the best of his entire life's work.
