Book Review: First Jennifer Cruise book I ever read. Hilarious Great chick-lit! perfect for summer! romance + mystery + chick-lit!

Basically this is a story about a lady growing up in a very small gossipy town (called Frog Point) and she discovers her husband is cheating and her whole life gets thrown into a crazy whirl-wind within the period of oh about 3 days. total insanity. no lie. we're talking infidelity, murder, lust, spying, secrets, lies, and truth, and the WHOLE town gets flipped up-side down.
It's not really a romance novel - but it's more like a really funny book w/ great sex in it. It's more about the heroine re-inventing herself and dealing w/ all her issues, and her romance w/ the hunky guy she lost her virginity to 20 years prior is also conveniently swirled into the story - a lot of the issues in this book are NOT funny or romantic AT ALL.....reading about a little girl trying to cope with divorce and loss of love was very very very heart-breaking. This book shouldn't be Tell Me Lies but Keep a Secret The heroine discovers so many majors secret that I was even stunned when the bomb dropped in the plot.
Why I liked this book: It was a page turner for me. I got sucked into the drama of it like a soap opera. The characters are ordinary everyday crazy people - no dukes and princesses here. Plus it was funny, and the witty-ness of it reminded me A LOT of chick-lit but with sizzling sex scenes thrown in. So if you also LOVE chick-lit, be sure to check out Jennifer Cruise.
