I have boys ages 5 and 6 and I thought this might be too young for them-- not so! they really loved this book! It's very interactive. I gave this to them for Easter and we are going to go on a picnic with their stuffed animals. highly recommend!

It's Teddy Bear's birthday, and all the other bears are organizing a surprise picnic! Teddy Bear's favorite friends are invited, including every boy and girl who opens this book! But how can they make preparations without Teddy Bear finding out? Kids help the bears get ready for the picnic while staying one step ahead of him. This wonderful pop-up picture storybook will engage toddlers as it tells the bears' story with appealing interactive features. A large pop-up picnic basket reveals a chunky fork, knife, spoon, and more! All you need to make the perfect birthday picnic. Kids can prepare make-believe sandwiches by using the knife to butter bread, and by adding lettuce and tomatoes to their sandwich. Pick ripe apples from the garden and place fresh flowers in a vase for the picnic. Use the fork to make a festive pattern on Teddy Bear's cake and help squeeze out the icing to spell "Happy Birthday." Then finally, wrap Teddy Bear's present and stick on the bow.
